What should I do before my appointment?
Exfoliate the night before, skip lotion, deodorant and makeup on the day, and wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. Read our full tan prep & aftercare guide.
How long does a spray tan last, and how do I make it last longer?
A spray tan typically lasts 5-10 days. Moisturise daily with an oil-free lotion, avoid long hot showers, and use our gradual tan butter to extend the glow.
What's the difference between your self tan foam and an in-studio spray tan?
Our self tan foam is a salon-quality, at-home option for maintaining or extending your glow between studio visits. The in-studio spray tan is the full bespoke bridal or event treatment.
Bridal Tan Appointments
How far in advance should I book my bridal spray tan trial?
We recommend booking your trial at least 4-6 weeks before your wedding, so there's plenty of time to find your perfect shade before the big day.
What happens at a bridal trial appointment?
Your trial is a full consultation — we talk through your dress, venue and skin tone, then apply your tan so you can see exactly how it develops and wears before booking your final wedding-day appointment.
How long before my wedding should I get my final spray tan?
Book your final tan 1-2 days before your wedding so it's fully developed but still fresh for photos.
Can you tan my whole bridal party?
Yes — we regularly tan bridal parties together so everyone matches on the day. Get in touch to book a group session.
Event Tanning
Do you tan for events other than weddings?
Yes — Glow Base tans for formals, races, birthdays, photoshoots and any special occasion that calls for a flawless glow, not just weddings.
How far ahead should I book an event spray tan?
For most events, booking 1-3 days ahead is ideal so your tan is fully developed but still fresh. For race days or formals with early starts, book the afternoon or evening before.
Can you tan a group for a birthday or hens party?
Yes — we regularly tan groups together, whether it's a hens party, birthday, or a squad heading to the same event, so everyone matches on the day.
What's the difference between an event tan and a bridal trial?
A bridal trial is a full consultation built around your wedding day specifically. An event tan is a single appointment for your occasion, still custom-blended to your skin tone, just without the trial-and-adjust process.

Is Glow Base self tan foam cruelty-free?
Yes — every product in the Glow Base range is vegan and cruelty-free. We never test on animals, and none of our formulas contain animal-derived ingredients.
Is Glow Base self tan foam made in Australia?
Yes — our self tan foam is proudly made in Australia, formulated with BotanicOil Complex™ and natural DHA for a deep, even bronze without the orange fade.
Does your self tan foam have a strong smell?
No — our formulas are zero scent, so you get a flawless glow without the giveaway fake-tan smell.
Is Glow Base self tan foam good for my skin, or just for colour?
Both — every formula is skincare infused with BotanicOil Complex™ and Vitamin C, which help boost skin radiance and visibly correct tone unevenness as your tan develops.
What ingredients are in Glow Base self tan foam?
100% natural DHA for a streak-free, non-orange fade, Vitamin C to boost skin radiance and even out tone, and our BotanicOil Complex™ — a blend of natural, antioxidant-rich oils. Vegan, Australian made, zero scent.
When do I rinse off my self tan foam?
Rinse time depends on how deep you want your glow: 2 hours for a natural tan, 3 hours for medium, 4 hours for dark, and 5+ hours for deep dark. Apply 1-2 layers with a tanning mitt in circular motions, then rinse at your desired depth and wash your hands after use.
